  • The Project Leader is responsible for the successful delivery of hospitality and luxury interior environments, leading projects from concept through execution while balancing design integrity, technical coordination, team performance, and client outcomes. This role oversees project direction, drives execution strategy, and ensures alignment between the design vision, schedule, and buildability.

    Working closely with Project Directors and senior design staff, the Project Leader leads internal teams, coordinates external consultants and clients, and maintains momentum across all phases of work. This role combines leadership, communication, technical oversight, and operational accountability to ensure projects are delivered with clarity, consistency, and excellence.

    Credentials or Qualifications:

    • 11+ years of interior design or architectural experience within hospitality, luxury residential, and retail environments.

    • Degree in Interior Design or Architecture (Bachelor’s or Master’s).

    • Professional certification or registration is an asset (e.g., NCIDQ, LEED AP, PMP).

    • Expert proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).

    • Strong technical capability in Rhino and/or Revit is an asset.

    • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale or complex projects through all project phases.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Owns full project delivery across all phases, balancing design vision, technical execution, timelines, budgets, and client expectations

    • Maintains accountability for project performance, delivery standards, and overall team output

    • Oversees project schedules, staffing, deliverables, and team workload to maintain efficiency, momentum, and quality

    • Provides leadership and oversight on technical coordination, drawing quality, detailing, and material implementation

    • Anticipates project risks, identifies challenges proactively, and implements solutions to maintain project progress

    • Resolves complex design and technical challenges, balancing design intent, constructability, budget, and schedule

    • Builds strong client relationships through responsiveness, leadership, accountability, and strategic communication

  • We’re seeking a long-term collaborator to join our Milan studio under a Partita IVA arrangement, working closely with the team on projects from concept through completion. This is a full-time position based in Milan, Italy. Candidates must be based in Milan or willing to relocate. Must have legal authorization to work in Italy/EU. (We are currently not able to sponsor work visas for this position).

    Credentials or Qualifications:

    • 7-12 years of interior design or architectural experience within hospitality, luxury residential, and retail environments.

    • Degree in Interior Design or Architecture (Bachelor’s or Master’s).

    • Professional registration with Ordine degli Architetti (or eligibility preferred)

    • Fluency in Italian and English (written and verbal)

    • Expert proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).

    • Strong technical capability in Rhino and/or Revit is an asset.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Develops concepts, space planning, and material direction with ownership and understanding of design intent.

    • Oversees and contributes to drawing sets including plans, elevations, sections, details, and schedules, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and design clarity.

    • Ensures documentation packages (tender, permit, fabrication, construction) are comprehensive, coordinated, and aligned with project objectives

    • Resolves complex design and technical challenges, balancing design intent, constructability, budget, and schedule

    • Leads coordination with internal teams, ensuring alignment across disciplines and project phases.

    • Interfaces with external consultants, leading coordination meetings and resolving issues proactively

    • Supports Project Leads in maintaining project momentum, identifying risks, and proposing solutions

    • Mentors intermediate and junior designers, offering guidance, feedback, and knowledge-sharing

    • Fosters a collaborative and engaged team environment, contributing to team growth and development and solutions-oriented mindset
